Arts
Council Korea (ARKO) will hold the 2026 4th ARKO International Conference on
Arts and Technology Convergence on Friday, June 12, at the Main Theater of the
ARKO Arts Theater, as part of its efforts to expand Korea’s ecosystem for
interdisciplinary creation at the intersection of art and technology.
The
conference has been organized in conjunction with the 2026 5th APE CAMP, which
will take place from June 13 to 16 at venues including COEX Magok in Seoul.
The
theme of this year’s international conference is “The Great Transformation: How
We Sense the Invisible World” The program explores how art and technology
select and investigate new realms of perception at a time when algorithms,
data, and sound increasingly shape everyday life.
In
particular, the conference defines creators who translate invisible layers of
information into sensory languages perceptible to the human body as “architects
of transformation,” offering an in-depth examination of their distinctive
creative methodologies.
