PS CENTER presents a solo exhibition 《Damaged Fruit and Mercy》 by artist GuNa, on view through November 7.

Fallen fruit rolls across the ground, offers its body to birds, bursts open and dries out, eventually becoming soil. When the seasons return, the same process begins again.

《Damaged Fruit and Mercy》 takes this scene as its starting point, drawing parallels between the transformations and limitations of vulnerable bodies and events in nature. The body and nature, inside and outside, wandering bodies and decaying fruit overlap throughout the exhibition space. Between them, the chill of a body confronted with its limits flows alongside the desire to transcend them.

GuNa develops a personal narrative rooted in her experience of living with a painful body through sculpture, painting installations, and a ballad created in collaboration with a musician. The exhibition invites us to reflect on bodies that hold despair and love together, and on the mercy that allows us to keep flawed things close to one another.
