ThisWeekendRoom presents a group exhibition
《Net》, featuring the works by Chaewon
Lee, Linnéa Gad, and Uesung Lee, on view through August 8.
oday, art is moving away from being an
object of possession defined by fixed materiality, becoming instead a process
and an event of emergence and disappearance.
Following the long history of tension
between the conceptual and the performative, we turn our attention to the
questions that have endured beyond the countless discourses that have come and
gone.

At stake is the question of what we
continue to value and preserve, even as the conditions of our time continue to
shift. Grounded in these contemporary concerns, the exhibition 《Net》 traces the forms of temporal
sedimentation, erosion, and transformation that traverse everyday life and the
ecosystems that surround us.
Chaewon Lee, Linnéa Gad, and Uesung Lee
weave together material and psychological debris caught between the human and
the nonhuman, the artificial and the natural, and the visible and the
invisible, revealing traces of loss and regeneration that remain embedded
within these entangled relationships.
