Faction will present its second Screening
Night program, 《Screening Night: Good Girl Gone Bad》, over three days from May 29 to May 31.
The theme of 《Screening
Night: Good Girl Gone Bad》, taking place on the final
weekend night of May ahead of Pride Month, is “Queer Girlhood.” It spotlights
raw, unpolished, and unapologetically defiant love and resistance. Films that
swing between breezy aesthetics and gut-punch storytelling, plus experimental
video works and dance performances. And of course, 3 nights GV where we get
into it all — imperfect desire, the gaze & power, taboo & liberation,
solidarity, and everything in between.

Screening Night is Faction's ongoing
curatorial program bringing together a lineup that spans fine art and cinema.
Through post-screening GV sessions, the program invites artists and filmmakers
alike to push the boundaries of moving image across genres.
The theme for 2024 was Thrill & Chill —
a carefully curated selection of 7 works that keep you on the edge of your seat
and utterly transfixed: gore with a crisp yet unsettling aesthetic, thrillers
laced with unexpected twists, and spine-chilling horror that lingers long after
the credits roll.
This edition of Screening Night will
feature screenings of Color, color, color! (2025) by Sejin
Kim, A Happy Wedding (2023) by Arin Hong,
Weaving (2025) by Min-zy Choi, The Doghouse
(2023) by Hyein Min, Black Maria (2023) by Younghae Chang,
as well as BOLD LOVERS (2026) and GOOD GIRL GONE
DRAG (2026) by Sarah Hanses.
The screening lineup will remain the same
for all sessions, and all films will be presented with either English or Korean
subtitles.
