Sangheeut
presents the exhibition, 《Calendar》, for the final month of 2025, on view through December 30.
The
project draws from a 19th-century German custom of lighting a candle or opening
a small paper door each day in anticipation of Christmas—a tradition that
eventually became the Advent Calendar.
《Calendar》 brings this idea into the gallery as a spatial structure 24
compartments and 24 openings. Each day, one work is revealed, and the
exhibition comes together in its complete form only on the final day.

Rather
than building a single narrative, the exhibition looks at the day as the
smallest unit of display and observes how these daily moments, placed side by
side, form a larger structure. It also makes visible the process by which an
exhibition is assembled over time.
Through
this exhibition, sangheeut calmly reflects on the time it has shared with
various artists and audiences over the past year, leaving a day-to-day record
as we welcome the coming new year.
