Sangheeut
presents its first exhibition of 2025 with a group exhibition, titled 《Senses Already Sensed》, featuring works by Hana Kim, Nosik Lim, and Jinyong Park.
The
exhibition brings together new works by Hana Kim, Nosik Lim, and Jinyong Park,
who explore invisible sensations through painting. Each artist employs a
distinct approach to delve into sensory interactions that go beyond visual
perception, uncovering traces of a world that cannot be reached solely through
seeing or being seen. Each artist takes a unique approach to investigating the
sensory connections that lie beneath the surface of perception.

Hana
Kim
constructs her own abstract world by exploring the materiality of
painting—canvas, frame, paint, color, and texture. Kim’s approach embraces
vulnerability, presenting works that interact with their surroundings. Her
paintings often layer surfaces—walls, frames, and thin fabrics—to create
dynamic compositions that invite viewers into new sensory experiences and
painterly possibilities.
Nosik
Lim
reimagines his observations of the world around him as painterly landscapes.
His creative process begins when a specific scene captures his attention, yet
his focus extends beyond the visible, exploring microscopic and intangible
elements such as air and atmosphere.

Jinyong
Park
examines the intersection of language, the body, and sensory experiences,
transforming them into her own distinctive painterly language. Park records
words and thoughts from daily life, analyzing them through emotional,
psychological, and physical lenses.
She
uses the sound and meaning of words, alongside personal memories, to construct
forms and colors, resulting in works that resemble a personal visual
“hieroglyph.”
This
exhibition seeks to expand our understanding of the world by showcasing works
that capture subtle, fleeting (non)sensations in objects, landscapes, and
language.
