Museumhead presents a group exhibition 《Midnight Midnight》, on view through November 15.

The exhibition begins with an imagination of a place that fully confronts the present after all the commotion has subsided. Accordingly, 《Midnight Midnight》 brings together moments considered irrelevant or insignificant, and scenes thought to have already been seen—or to be forever out of reach.

The exhibition overlays the works of RYU In, PARK Youngsook, and HONG Seungil onto the present, questioning which practices have been remembered or omitted in a hastily sutured history and what contemporaneous tasks and questions continue to linger. Furthermore, it confirms that the driving force of that time persists, not as mere heroic tales or transitional experiments, but as forces that are continually recalled within the interstices of the present.

In this way, 《Midnight Midnight》 situates itself within overlapping times, seeking out the symptoms and voids of the present that elude the language of newness and immediacy.
