Frieze House Seoul, a permanent exhibition
space operated by the global art fair Frieze, is presenting 《Summer Sparks》, a relay exhibition series
surveying the currents of contemporary Korean art, on view through July 22.
The exhibition brings together fifteen
Korean galleries, including Lee & Bae, Baik Art, and Foundry Seoul. Under
the shared title 《Summer Sparks》, the program unfolds across three rounds —Impulse, Ignite, and
Flare — with five galleries participating in each round.
Andy St. Louis, Director of Frieze House
Seoul, stated, “Frieze House Seoul was conceived as a space where artistic
exchange can continue throughout the year,” adding that the exhibition series
is composed of experimental formats reflecting the creative energy of the
Korean art ecosystem.
