Post Territory Ujeongguk presents the exhibition 《Hyper Echo》, curated by C.A.S (Contemporary Art Studies), the academic association of the Department of Art History and Theory at Hongik University, from January 8 to January 20.

The exhibition focuses on the sense of “trust” as a phenomenon that is continuously generated and negotiated through encounters and relationships with diverse entities in contemporary life. This sense of trust is not limited to living beings; it is also increasingly called upon in our relationships with social phenomena, technology, and artificial intelligence. As more technological Others permeate our daily lives, we find ourselves responding to them, at times feeling a sense of attunement or even communion, and receiving tangible influences in return.

《Hyper Echo》 poses the question, “What am I sensing, and what is sensing me?” and invites viewers to consider trust not as a one-sided decision, but as a rhythm that constantly wavers and is reconfigured within relationships.

Through works by artists employing a wide range of media, the exhibition traces flows of affect centered on trust, and ultimately seeks to create an opportunity for everyone to recalibrate their own senses within these currents.
