Shinhan
Gallery presents a special exhibition 《Dust Walkers》 on view through December 20.
This
exhibition features approximately thirty works spanning painting, sculpture,
and video by four artists, including Gwangsoo Park and Jeisung Oh—both alumni
of Shinhan Gallery’s art incubating program “Shinhan Young Artist Festa”—as
well as notable Korean artists Hyunbin Kwon and Uri Han.

The
exhibition title “Dust Walkers” symbolizes an artistic act of tracing
long-dormant senses and remnants, bringing them back into the present. The
participating artists investigate the entangled relationships between material
and time, existence and memory, visually articulating emotional currents that
flow from the past through the present and into the time yet to come.

The exhibition 《Dust
Walkers》 evokes the
materiality and agency of dust—scattered yet accumulating—and follows this
trajectory to traverse the non-linear, layered strata of works built up
throughout the show. The time and place we share are composed of sensory traces
deposited upon dust.
The four artists unearth these traces and, transforming them
into unforeseen landscapes and imagined narratives, construct a meaningful
present within the exhibition space.
Participating
Artists: Gwangsoo
Park, Jeisung Oh, Hyunbin Kwon, Uri Han.
