Whistle presents a solo exhibition 《Nest in the Field》 by artist Hyun Nahm, on view through October 18.

Hyun Nahm has continuously addressed issues concerning communication networks and technologies in today’s so-called hyper-connected society, through the concept of Miniascape (縮景), a method of compressing vast natural landscapes into miniature forms.

The exhibition 《Nest in the Field》 presents a new type of work by Hyun Nahm, building on his previous experimental practice. The exhibition originates from his interest in Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS), a condition in which exposure to electromagnetic waves from electronic devices triggers physical and psychological symptoms.

In 《Nest in the Field》, Hyun Nahm materializes the intangible fears and beliefs projected onto the invisible electromagnetic waves that permeate our daily lives, through a series of diverse material experiments.
