Andrew Russeth from The New York Times published an article introducing the South Korean artist duo Moon Kyungwon and Jeon Joonho, better known as Moon and Jeon, and their upcoming solo exhibition at Kanazawa’s 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, one of Japan’s largest contemporary art museums. The exhibition will be taking place in May, 2022.

Artist_Global K-Art Geumhyung Jeong and Mire Lee Will Talk about Sexuality, Corporeality, and Technology at the 59th Venice Biennale
The Venice Biennale, also known as the “Olympics of the art world,” will take place from April 23rd to November 27th after being delayed a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The exhibition, which marks the 59th Biennale, will be led this year by the High Line chief curator, Cecilia Alemani, who is the first Italian woman to curate the festival.
Biennale_News Binna Choi Appointed as Artistic Director for the 61st Venice Biennale Korean Pavilion
The Arts Council Korea (ARKO) has appointed curator Binna Choi as the Artistic Director for the Korean Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia (Venice Biennale) in 2026.
Binna Choi previously served as a curator for the 2016 Gwangju Biennale and as a co-artistic director for the 2022 Singapore Biennale. She was the Director of Casco Art Institute in the Netherlands from 2008 to 2023. She is currently serving as a co-artistic director for the Hawai‘i Triennial 2025, which runs until May 4 this year.

Gallery_Global K-Art 《Kang Seok Ho: Hold Still》, "The winter sea the eyes have seen is wider than itself."
Tina Kim Gallery is presenting《Kang Seok Ho: Hold Still》, the gallery’s second solo exhibition of the late Korean artist, currently on view from November 20, 2025 through January 24, 2026. Bringing together Kang’s ‘Couple’ and ‘Nude’ paintings—created between the mid-2010s and 2021—the exhibition traces the artist’s sustained engagement with the human figure as a site for exploring painterly surface, materiality, and form.
