Italian luxury brand Gucci has announced that its ‘Gucci Cultural Month’ project this October will spotlight contemporary Korean artists Kimsooja, contemporary performing artist Ahn Eun Me, filmmaker Park Chan-wook, and pianist Seong-Jin Cho, all of whom have pushed the boundaries of Korean art and culture.

The ‘Gucci Cultural Month’ project is a large-scale program that builds on Gucci’s homage to Korean culture, highlighting leading figures in the field of fine arts and culture in Korea and beyond.

Focusing on four artists who represent Korea on the world stage, Gucci will present a program of photography, video, performances, exhibitions, and lectures, bringing together various disciplines and generations, including art, film, contemporary dance, and music.

“Through ‘Gucci Cultural Month,’ we want to once again showcase the excellence of Korean culture, with its colorful heritage and creativity, to the world,” said a Gucci representative.

The event will take place in Seoul from October 15 to November 14, with specific project details to be revealed at a later date.
