Internationally acclaimed artist Chung Seoyoung presents her first solo exhibition in the Middle East, 《Endless Facts》, on view at Fire Station in Doha, Qatar, through April 20.

The exhibition opens in conjunction with the inaugural edition of Art Basel Qatar and marks the first chapter of a long-term project conceived within Fire Station’s commitment to sustained artistic discourse and international collaboration.

《Endless Facts》 brings together key works spanning more than three decades of the artist’s practice, alongside newly commissioned works created specifically in response to the spatial context of Fire Station. Centered on the Garage Gallery, the exhibition explores multilayered relationships between objects, collective memory, and lived experience through meticulously arranged sculptural forms composed of everyday and industrial materials.

Wael Shawky, Artistic Director of Fire Station, remarked, “This exhibition embodies Fire Station’s commitment to sustaining ambitious artistic practices that question how we see, hear, and think.”

He further emphasized that “by presenting artists whose work intersects history, materiality, and philosophy, this project—launched in step with the debut of Art Basel Qatar—positions Fire Station not as a temporary venue, but as a central platform for ongoing experimentation and dialogue.”
