PODO Museum presents the exhibition “Perhaps Sunny Days” until May 8, 2025. The exhibition is designed to foster warmth in the way we perceive the lives of the elderly and seeks to create intergenerational empathy, particularly as society rapidly transitions into a super-aged demographic.

The ten participating artists focus on the experience of aging, especially the extreme solitude faced by individuals with cognitive decline. Through an artistic lens, they explore how such conditions dismantle one’s identity and continuity of memory, gradually eroding the layers of objects and sensations until the individual is left isolated, standing alone before an infinite internal space. In this context, cognitive decline becomes more than just a disease—it serves as a metaphor for an exploration of the farthest, most isolated corners of the soul.
