ISU
Group (Chairman Kim Sang-bum) announced today that it has created a 2022 diary
and calendar in collaboration with Korea's leading pop artist Lee Donggi.
Since
2020, ISU Group has been collaborating with famous artists to produce diaries
and calendars for business use to support employees' creative ideas. This is
the second art collaboration, following last year's collaboration with
up-and-coming contemporary artist Ok Seung-cheol, and the group plans to
collaborate with more artists in the future to promote artistic and cultural
values.
This
year, each product features the artist's signature 'Atomaus' character. The
products include the representative series 'Atomaus', 'Virtual Mental Illness'
and 'Street Duel' (2001), as well as the 'Eclecticism' series '1 Euro'
(2018-2019) and 'Snail' (2020), which capture the artist's overall work.
“I believe that the value of art is only truly realized when it
naturally permeates our daily lives,” said Kim Se-min, Executive Vice President
of Innovation Strategy at ISU Group. ‘Through art collaborations between
companies and artists, we expect that our diaries will have value as works of
art, not just products.’ ‘We will continue to collaborate with various artists
to provide a differentiated experience unique to ISU Group diaries,’ said Kim.
