Matley Wood is the work awarded the British Institution Award by the Royal Academy of Art. The artist used long exposure and light painting techniques to capture the night. Although it is dark everywhere, only the tree is shining brightly. It shows an artist who is painting with lights in front of a camera in deep darkness.
