About The Work

Using the nighttime as the working stage in the ‘Rifling’ series also follows the way he has been doing it before. What he met on the Gyeongwon Line (Dongducheon-Soyosan-Choseongri-Hantangang-Jeongok-Yeoncheon-Sinmanri-Daegwangri-Sintanri-Baekma Highland) was not the intensity of war, but the scenery of a rural village. Rifling 017, which contains the road scenery created by the fog and red street lights at dawn, seems to guide the audience into an unknown world, and the real scene he meets on the road, such as a soldier’s residence or a guard post, also guarantees a mysterious journey.
