URBAN BREAK 2024, Asia’s largest urban and street art fair, will be held from July 11 to 14 at Coex in Seoul.

Celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2024, URBAN BREAK is preparing to present itself as a special art festival where attendees can experience satisfaction through various senses under the concept of “Five Sensory Satisfaction.” URBAN BREAK aims to be more than just an art fair, but an art festival that fuses various cultures and arts. By integrating visual arts with various contents such as music, fashion, street dance, F&B, URBAN BREAK presents innovative art contents that everyone can easily enjoy.

URBAN BREAK 2024 will feature a ‘Meet & Greet’ program where visitors can interact with domestic and international artists. More than 10 global artists will participate, including graffiti artist JONONE (USA), who has been awarded the Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur, DULK (Spain), a visual artist who expresses natural ecology through art, Coté Escrivá (Spain), a rising urban pop artist, and VANCE (China) and Nicholas Blake (USA), who are gaining global attention for transcending the boundaries of street art. There will also be a variety of performance programs, including graffiti, fashion, and music collaborations, street dance cyphers, live graffiti battles, and digital graffiti experience programs.

The exhibition introducing 37 emerging Korean and international artists will also be presented. Instead of a white cube booth, the exhibition will welcome visitors in a variety of ways, utilizing the unique characteristics of each artist.

In addition, there will be a special exhibition of AI ART, which combines AI and fiction, and a special exhibition commemorating live drawing artist Kim Jung Gi, and limited-edition items will be produced and sold with the motif of Kim’s legacy work, NOONBOOL TOKKI. There will also be a rare collection of Bearbrick, one of the art toy’s signatures, as well as a large collection of more than 3,000 pieces.

A total of 23 galleries will be participating this time, including AP Gallery, Art N Gallery, EZ Gallery, Gallery Mac, and GALERIE GAIA. URBAN BREAK 2024 will also expand its stage to include a ‘Graffiti Art Island Project’ in Sinan, Jeollanam-do, featuring world-renowned graffiti artists JONONE and DULK.
