MUSEUM WAVE presents a solo exhibition by Lee Yungsung, “Odd&Nu”, on view through October 31. In “Odd&Nu,” Lee Yunsung explores how contemporary art can incorporate pop culture, sexual codes, and violence through the imagery of ”bishōjo“ (young girl characters).

His works are rooted in the aesthetic of ”bishōjo“ from Japanese pop culture, reinterpreting classical themes from Western art history while boldly exposing elements of sexual desire and violence.
