Tai Kwun Contemporary presents “Who is Who,” a solo exhibition by Sarah Morris (b. 1967), on view through April 14.

The exhibition features Morris’s feature film ‘ETC.’ Since her debut in 1988, the British-born contemporary artist has created works set in numerous cities, including Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Beijing, and Rio de Janeiro.

Morris filmed ETC in Hong Kong in the spring of 2023. Showcasing central and off-the-beaten-path locations in post-pandemic Hong Kong, ETC explores the city’s status as a global center of commerce and its history of rapid electronification and digitization. ‘ETC’ was first unveiled on the facade of the M+ museum. This time, it will be shown at Tai Koon Contemporary, accompanied by music by Liam Gillick (b. 1964).

Alongside ‘ETC,’ the mural ‘Lippo [Paul Rudolph]’ can also be seen. In the mural, Morris transformed Hong Kong landmarks into graphic images.
