Woaw Gallery presents the group exhibition “Fluid Maze” through March 13. The exhibition showcases the works of eight local artists who experiment with different media to question the meaning of “seeing.”

Participating artists were either born and raised in Hong Kong or have a personal connection with the city. The exhibition believes that their paintings, installations, and videos reflect the essence of Hong Kong as a city and the collective memories of their generation and that individual works create a “maze.”

The exhibition hopes the maze to be fluid. As art appreciation is a fluid and irreducible experience, the show encourages viewers to be willing to get lost in the maze rather than trying to find the correct answers.

The participating artists are mostly born in the 1990s and include Hector Chan, IV Chan, Dony Cheng, SSAN Hui, Mandy Lau, Florence Lee, Wong Ka Ying, and Wu Jiaru.
